BELLS OF TROY

Lindon note:  Over the past few days, another 0.5% share has come up to buy into the Combo syndicate and we took the opportunity to buy this additional share.  It cost us $1500 for the share which is probably  overpriced but considering Bells, Flying & I'm are all going well at the moment, we took the opportunity to take a bigger slice of this (albeit still small !)  In our view, any opportunity to take more share in Bells was always a prize we couldnt overlook given she is going well.  This will help us to get a slightly larger share of any prize money they win from here on in and then give us a little more if we decide to go down the breeding part with her (multiple city winner), so broodmare prospects always improve a bit.  Financially it doesnt change much but I will re-do the books and double check and it might mean that instead of putting $3 to the QK2, I might have to put a bit extra to cover it and change the allocation to say $20 & $5 but it wont change your overall costs etc - just how I handle it on the accounts etc and where the break even point is depending on how much prize money the three of them can earn.  Any questions, just shout.

As we get to better races, Ken has said that he may have to do a ballot on members/mounting yard passes which may restrict our access a bit given there is  quite a few of us but it wont limit our ability to get into the course with our owners tickets etc.  Lets hope we have have this problem (ie we are running in better races !!).

WENDY'S NOTE

Since her last start we've just kept her to some light work and she's had a good week.  All going well the plan is to run her at Flemington on the 7th of September over 2000m and Craig Newitt has already been booked to take the ride.

IM ADAMANT
I'm Adamant entered for 2 races this Thursday at Murwillumbah.

FLYING KYLE
He came through Pakenham in excellent order, he was left in front sooner than we would have liked but I thought he ran great. Ideally I'd like a 1600m race for his next start so I will nominate him for Kilmore on Saturday the 31st in the 0-64 over 1600m.

No update the others - currently chewing grass at Ken's.

Latest on stable:

I'm Adamant won today pretty impressively by 5 lengths at Murwillumbah. Jumping straight to the front, she never looked like being headed - clearly they have found the secret to her so lets hope can now raise the bar now that she has found form.  Maybe the stable confidence is rubbing off... She ran ok time

Congrats All - hope you had something on.

 Flying Kyle -

Yesterday Flying Kyle had some lumps under the skin come up, we had our vet inspect and treat them straight away, however at trackwork this morning he was extremely sensitive all over. So much so we couldn't work him,

I had our vet treat him again so I have not accepted for Ballarat on Thursday as the treatment given today would show up in a swab. I will accept for the Pakenham meeting scheduled for Sunday instead.

Bells of Troy - runs Saturday - Newitt out suspended so Craig Williams contacted Wendy for ride and he goes on.  details later in the week.

Bon Hoffa / Resetting filly - chewing grass.

Skalato filly - chewing grass.

Bells of Troy

She ran an excellent race today for her upcoming campaign and it was great to see her enjoying her racing.  Jordon rode her to instructions and she picked the bit up at the school and worked home great.  Her sectionals were terrific just being a tick over 23 from the 400 and running the last 200m in 11.79. These were super sectionals for a horse that gets over more ground and she will be improved by the run.  She's pulled up great and I anticipate her racing again in 2 - 3 weeks time. Ken and myself will sit down and work out her next run and as soon as we do that we will let you all know.

Congratulations on a super 1st up run and we look forward to her next race.
